You may remember form my last post that I’d tried the missioning way of living in Eve, Well as you may have realised from the start it’s not for me. I’m back to missioning the Ninja way. Work with me a little while I explain the way Ninja’s mission :
We Ninja’s are given missions to go clear up the wrecks. When I say given, it’s more of a direction. Our Agent is Velocity Prime. It’s a calling. We hear the call of the master Ninja and we cannot help ourselves.
Here is proof of that :
Raging Carebear > you wanna make money salvage your own * missions
Ninjar > my agent gave this to me
Raging Carebear > no he * didn’t
Raging Carebear > you scanned down the * wrecks, you think i was born yesterday
Ninjar > you want to ask him?
There ya go proof from a Ninja. We all know ninja’s don’t lie. I challenge you to find a direct lie from a ninja.

I have always figured that to know the enemy you need to think like your enemy. I know someone (I hesitate to use the word friend, he’s a mission runner. Are we allowed to like them?) That runs level 4 missions for some grotty little Caldari corp .
He invited me along, and I soon realised that it wasn’t to salvage the loot, but actually help with the mission. “Learn some useful PVE skills” as it was put to me, so I dragged out my shiny Wolf (200mm AC’s Scrammer, webber, you know the usual PVP fit).
Taking a jaunt over to his location and warp to him after joining a fleet. Jeez it’s easy being in a fleet. No fun in it with out having scanning.

I found another Blog. Now, while I don’t normally create posts about them, this is an interesting one.
Mr. Rothschild over at podlogs.com has started a new character with no skills trained. Straight out of the box. 5000 isk and 5 trade orders only. His intention is to make a billion with no more skills trained. I wish him all the luck. As long as he keeps away from Amarr space
It’s worth a read. He’s only at day 3 at the moment, but the isk is flowing.
They guys over at crazykinux.com sent me a post saying that Randon Drivel was gonna be name checked in an up and coming post. Here it is. We are there! Actually there. Somewhat to the bottom of the list but it’s alphabetical so I’m kinda stuffed. I’ve offered them cash and the bodys of my foes to stick me higher, but the ASCII table is higher than even cold hard eurodollarpfennigs. Dammit. I knew I should have called the blog just ‘!‘.
Oh well, all advertising is welcome.
And Happy Christmas. Or Happy what ever it is you want to celebrate. Personally I’m celebrating no work for a few days, and the kids are celebrating getting presents. Anyway I’m now off to celebrate with beer.
The time for change is nigh!! Patch day is upon us.
I await the screams of rage from players :
‘UI is ****’
‘Fix ships/drones/guns’ and so on
I await the rage quits with the question “Can I has your stuff?”
Everything changes over time, learn to adapt or die. If you don’t you are the modern day Dinosaur.
We all know there are bad things about every game. EVE is no exception. Even if you had the skill to write EVE you’d never get everything bad out of it. CCP are one of the best, IMO, companys when it comes to patches and listening to their clients. They do make changes at our request, be it screams of rage or the calmer requests from a CSM.
For instance the Mail system and IGB. Also this patch is free. Blizzard (makers of the evilness known as World of Warcraft) charge for updates as well as monthly subs. I’ve never heard of a user request actually happening.
I for one look forward to many of the changes. Yes even the bad ones. Change, is they say, as good as a rest.
Embrace the good with the bad. Stop the winging on the forums and get on with it.
‘Why so long’, ‘where’s the patch’, ‘Why X, Why Y’, ‘I quit cos you didn’t make it a solo game’, ‘can we have our own server’ FFS people Shut up! Play EVE or go back to WOW.
My home internet is down.. I was asked if the entire internet was down by a family member. But, not we’ve just killed our own link.
2 Days so far. I’m starting the get the jitters. Need to kill something.
